Stalls and Talks
If you can’t come to us then maybe we can come to you? We love to be invited to run stalls for other organisations and at a variety of events. We also offer talks on fairtrade which can be geared to any background or age group and we promise it will be interesting!
From left to right: setting up a stall at Kempston East Methodist Church Coffee Morning; Beaver Scouts in Wixams enjoyed activities to help them learn more about fair trade; a stall at Orchard School Christmas Bazaar.
Do you run your own fair trade stall or want to do a one off event?
We offer the facility to borrow goods from our extensive stock on a ‘Sale or Return’ basis. We can supply all the goods for your stall or event or just loan extra stock which you don’t feel able to buy in yourself. We can also help you to meet customer orders if this is a problem. We order weekly from our main supplier Traidcraft plc and frequently from a variety of other fair trade organisations.
St Andrew’s and Fair Trade
As well as shop activities St Andrew’s has a general strong commitment to fairtrade and has ‘Fairtrade Church’ status. Fairtrade tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and sugar are used both in the Church Centre kitchen and the foyer coffee machine and recently the church decided to switch to using fairtrade communion wine.
